Who are IU Consult?

IU Consult negotiate with energy suppliers in order to renew and provide businesses with competitive energy contracts. Through their relationships with suppliers they are able to offer excellent pricing and energy management services for companies all over the country.

Transcendit had been providing IU Consult with IT support when we were approached about creating an application which was able to handle complex admin and customer interactions. At the time, IU Consult were managing these through Excel, which was too inefficient and insecure to meet their requirements.

Making the application

Transcendit were able to design and create a completely bespoke application which was able to guide users through the process of contacting a business, sending required information to the appropriate recipient and quoting a price. This ruled out a fair degree of human error and vastly increased productivity.

Paradigm online energy broker system

We were also able to integrate VOIP with this application, allowing calls to be made, logged and recorded within the system itself. Callbacks can also be scheduled and reminders set, so that no customer call is ever forgotten. In the absence of VOIP, a normal telephony system could be used.

All employee interaction with customers is registered on the system, so that managers and employees can see the duration and outcome of phone calls. The application also removes a large amount of the general admin tasks such as email forwarding and data recording which cost employee time. IU Consult have decided to sell Paradigm to other energy brokers. It is now one of the most powerful Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in their sector.


We have taken on some account managers from our local competitors, and by all accounts Paradigm is leagues ahead of anything else out there.
