This month we finally unveiled our brand new website, designed by web developer Christophe Duhaut and written by copywriter Rebecca Harrison.
'We wanted a website which was easy to navigate around and simple to use, but contained all the information both present and future customers needed,' says Christophe. 'It was really important that we put our customers at the forefront of any changes we made. The new website does exactly that.'
Our previous website had very little information about the range of services Transcendit offers. We wanted a dedicated page for each of our support, web development and subscription services, and so Rebecca started learning about everything from VPNs to ISPs.
'I'm a writer, not a computer technician.' says Rebecca. 'That made my job harder because I wasn't initially familiar with the subjects I was writing about. But in a way, it put me in the same position as our customers. I knew if I could write about VOIP in a way I could understand, our customers would understand it too.'
'People shouldn't have to be computer whizzes to understand anything on our website - that's our team's job. Now visitors can find out exactly what we can offer their business quickly and easily - with all computer jargon translated.'
Christophe was keen for the design to reflect our brand, 'It was important for the website to look good, obviously.' he says. 'But more than anything else, we wanted to communicate that Transcendit is an honest, friendly business to work with. That's why our independently powered reviews are at the top of our home page.'
The reviews, ran by CustomerSure, cannot be edited or changed by Transcendit. 'We can tell everyone that we're a great company to work with,' says Christophe, 'but we'd rather let the reviews written by our customers speak for themselves.'
