What is CodeTwo?
'CodeTwo is one of the products that we offer whenever we offer Microsoft 365 subscription services.,' says Dave. 'CodeTwo is used for creating custom email signatures; which is the banner at the bottom of an email that comes from a business, along with providing a mechanism for other communications via email.'
Email signatures can be really difficult for businesses to create and maintain themselves. There are lots of devices and applications out there that often need to be configured with signatures and updated whenever things change. A professional email signature needs to look great, and match the design of your website. Generally, it needs to look for all employees within the company, but it also needs to be customisable for each individual's name and job title.
Why do we use CodeTwo for email signatures?
'Simply put, we believe that CodeTwo is the best application to centrally create, maintain and manage email signatures for Microsoft 365 without the need to configure anything on individual devices,' say Dave. 'When businesses want to add an email signature, they need something that is standardised and matches the design of their business. It must also be easily customisable for different departments and employees, and easy to change. CodeTwo does this.'
How do we create custom email signatures?
'It's easy to create good email signatures with CodeTwo; their editor has an interface similar to Word, which is inituitive and highly customisable,' says Dave. 'However, to create a great email signature you need a great web designer. Our Lead Designer Christophe Duhaut helps customers to create eye-catching email signatures that match the design of their website. It's completely customisable, so you can pick fonts, colours, add your logo, and add your certifications too.'
'The application allows you to drop in variables, so you can add fields where it will input the senders name, official job title (which employees can often be 'creative' with!), department, email address and phone numbers; basically any information that your business has regarding employees and wishes to add. You can create something that looks beautiful, applies to everyone, or even custom signatures for each department.'
'Once the email signature is designed, CodeTwo stamps that email signature centrally, so it doen't matter what is being used by the employee to send their Microsoft 365 email; it can be sent from a mobile phone, a tablet, a Mac, a PC or any other kind of machine.'
How easy is it to use?
'One of the reasons that we love CodeTwo is that it doesn't just help us create great email signatures, it makes them work for businesses,' says Dave. 'For example, if you don't want to include the email signature when you're forwarding emails, or sending internal emails, you can set a rule to stop that from happening.'
Dave says that CodeTwo is also really user-friendly when businesses want to make changes to their email signature, 'If your business gains an accreditation, for example, you can just add the logo to your email signature and it updates the signature across the whole company.'
'You can also use it for marketing and communication services. If your business is running something seasonal, like a Christmas deal, you can apply a banner with information, links, codes, whatever is important, for that time period only.'
