Transcendit have been awarded CodeTwo Partner of the Year, for the second year in a row. We had a chat with Transcendit Director Dave Scott to talk about CodeTwo and what it can do for businesses.
What is CodeTwo?
'CodeTwo is the software we both use and resell to customers for email signatures,' says Dave. 'An email signature is the banner that comes at the end of your email. It usually has the sender's name and title, as well as additional information; at Transcendit, our email signature also includes our address, the services that we offer, and our accreditations. It is one of the first things that anyone sees to form a perception of the business so it needs to be effective.'

Why your business needs an email signature
'When you're setting up a business, there are a lot of upfront costs,' says Dave. 'Sometimes businesses can look at features like email signatures and think that all it is doing is telling the recipient the name and title of the sender, and it isn't worth the expense. But email signatures do a lot more than that and require more management than people presume.'
Dave says that having an email signature is important for organisations, 'CodeTwo is one of those pieces of software that we'd describe as essential. When you have a consistent email signature across all of your accounts, it's reassuring for customers and clients because they know that they're emailing someone who is part of the business, and they know exactly which role that person is in. It communicates professionalism to your clients.'
'Staff don't even see the email signature when they send their email,' adds Dave. 'They don't need to do anything on their side ; CodeTwo handles all of it which is incredibly convenient for businesses. It really is effortless.'
But what about the cost? 'One of the great things about CodeTwo is that it is really reasonably priced; it's just £1.75 per user with a 10 user minimum, so as little as £17.50 per month,' says Dave. 'Many of the organisations we work with are small businesses, and the price means that it is accessible for SMEs. To have your email signatures centralised, not needing to worry about the device that you're on, or the person that's sending the email - there's a lot that the software does that more than justifies the cost.'

'There's a few different email signature services that are available for businesses, but we prefer Code Two,' says Dave.
