On 4th July 2012 a report was published concluding that children requiring heart surgery in England and Wales would be better served by concentrating expertise in 7 hospitals. One of which is the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. Implementation of this report has been repeatedly delayed, resulting in an environment that is uncertain and may lead to unnecessary suffering and deaths in children with Congenital Heart Defects.

Please support the implementation of the report by supporting the e-petition.

This morning, a group of men in Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead and Canada will ( in my experience anyway ) be greeted with a great big kiss - the moustache is gone!
